Digital twin technology is supporting efficient and user-friendly design of the new Fishermans Bend campus, due in 2025, whilst developing what will become a world-first live testbed for sustainable infrastructure planning. The campus will bring together industry, researchers and students to solve social and environmental issues affecting the world, for a sustainable and resilient future.
Even though the building is still in the planning stages, designers and decision-makers are already interacting with it using the digital twin technologies and are virtually testing different design options and their impact on users and the environment.
